Top cupcakes with a large white marshmallow each (for the ghost’s head) and a generous amount of white buttercream icing. On parchment paper, roll a white fondant ball 1 ½ inch (4 cm) in diameter into a circle 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. Drape fondant circle loosely over the iced marshmallow, creasing to create a ghostly form. Pipe eyes with melted chocolate or draw with a food colouring pen. – Recipe by Amanda Langley

Frost double chocolate cookies with black-tinted decorator’s icing.
