3 eggs
250 mL (1 cup) sugar
125 mL (1/2 cup) vegetable oil
5 mL (1 tsp) vanilla extract
375 mL (1-1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
10 mL (2 tsp) baking powder
Pinch of salt
500 mL (2 cups) blueberry pie filling

Directions

Using an electric mixer, in a medium bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla for 3 minutes at high speed. Add the flour, baking powder and salt; beat at low speed until the mixture is smooth. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 in (22.5 x 32.5 cm) cake pan and spread out the dough. Spoon the blueberry filling evenly over the dough. Bake at 350ºF (180ºC) for 35 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.

For festive cookies, add a little green and red candied cherry to the top. Make it a family affair by asking the kids to help with this task.
