Smoked Trout Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

1 bag of tortilla chips
150g smoked trout, shredded
¼ cup black olives, chopped
1 tsp. fresh chives, finely chopped
1 tsp. fresh dill, finely chopped
1 jar of marinated asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 clove of garlic
150g Swiss cheese, grated
½ cup dry white wine
(Replace Swiss cheese and dry wine with stronger ones if you prefer)

Directions

  1. Cook garlic in nonstick pan.
  2. Melt grated cheese and white wine over low heat and stir often with a wooden spoon. Adjust the consistency with wine or yellow cheddar cheese for a marbled effect.
  3. Add trout, olives, spices and salt. Pour into a large bowl, scoop with spoon and pour over tortilla chips. Top with a piece of asparagus.
