2 cups walnuts
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 teaspoons crushed dried
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, combine walnuts with remaining ingredients. Arrange coated nuts in a single layer in a shallow roasting pan.
Roast about 10 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally, until browned. (Can be made up to 3 days ahead. Store in an airtight container.)
