2 firm ripe bananas, peeled
250 g / 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
125 ml / 1/2 cup / 50 g sliced almonds, toasted
4 wooden sticks
Cut each banana in two diagonally. Insert a stick in each one to make a “banana pop.”
Place pops on a tray and freeze for two hours
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave, 20 seconds at a time. Stir with a spoon until smooth.
Using a spoon, coat each banana half with melted chocolate and sprinkle immediately with almonds. (If the chocolate begins to harden, return to the microwave for a few seconds.)
Keep in the freezer until serving time.
