250 mL (1 cup) milk
30 mL (2 tbsp) butter
30 mL (2 tbsp) flour
250 mL (1 cup) cooked, shredded chicken
125 (1/2 cup) sliced mushrooms
Directions
Scald milk. Melt butter in a medium-size saucepan over low heat. Add flour, stirring constantly. Gradually pour in the hot milk and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Add chicken and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Fill the crêpes with the mixture; fold and place in greased baking dish. Broil 5 minutes. Makes enough to fill eight crêpes, for four servings.
