Tropical Fruit Salad Recipe
Fresh and flavourful, this salad features antioxidant-rich fruits blended with ginger and lime for a scrumptious breakfast treat. Don’t forget that bananas and cantaloupe are both loaded with blood pressure-lowering potassium.

1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 tsp grated lime zest
2 red grapefruits
2 kiwifruits, peeled and cut into thin wedges
2 bananas, sliced
1 small cantaloupe or large papaya, seeded and cut into chunks
2 tbsp crystallized ginger
1. In a small bowl, combine the yogurt and lime zest.
2. Over a large bowl, cut the grapefruits into sections, then place in the bowl. Squeeze the membranes over the bowl to release the juice. Add the kiwis, bananas, cantaloupe, and ginger. Toss to blend.
3. To serve, divide the fruit among 6 bowls. Top each with 1-1/2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture.
