Ingredients

1 tbsp (15 mL) Gay Lea Butter
1/4 cup (50 mL) onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp (30 mL) flour
1-3/4 cups (425 mL) Lacteeze 1%, 2% or Skim milk
1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh dill
2 cups (500 mL) assorted fresh vegetables, cut into thin strips
1 (184g) can salmon, drained
8 oz (225g) dried vermicelli

Directions

In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add onion and cook until tender. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk and chopped dill. Add vegetables and salmon. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cook vermicelli according to the package directions. Toss with salmon and vegetable sauce.

Makes 4 servings.
