Chocolate Pudding
  1. In a large bowl, mix sugar and salt. Extract vanilla from bean and combine with milk.
  2. Mix 1/2 cup (125 mL) of cold milk with cornstarch.
  3. Add the rest of the milk to the sugar and salt mix, then add it to the milk and cornstarch mixture. Stir well.
  4. In a double boiler, heat the mixture until it coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and add chocolate. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to cool.
Peanut Butter Pudding
  1. In a large bowl, mix sugar and salt. Extract vanilla from bean and combine with milk.
  2. Mix 1/2 cup of cold milk with the cornstarch.
  3. Add the rest of the milk to the sugar and salt mix, then add the milk and cornstarch mixture. Stir well.
  4. In a double boiler, heat the mixture until it coats the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to cool.
Assembly
  1. In little jars, drop in a spoonful of the chocolate pudding.
  2. Cover with berries. Top with a spoonful of the peanut butter pudding. Repeat until the pudding is all used up.
  3. Decorate each jar of pudding with a hazelnut, if desired.
