Boozy Ice Pops
“Chances are, you’ve got a couple of bottles of brightly-coloured flavoured liqueurs in the back of your liquor cabinet from some party years ago. Now is the time for them to shine again!” – Chris Jacks
- 6 oz lemon juice
- 6 oz simple syrup see below
- 6 oz water
- 18 oz flavoured liqueur
- In a pitcher, mix lemon juice, simple syrup and water.
- In batches, pour equal parts of lemon juice mixture and flavoured liqueur into cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into ice pop molds. Freeze overnight.
- Simple syrup is (as its name implies!) as simple as preparing a 1:1 mixture of sugar and water. Heat one cup of water to near boiling, then add one cup of sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate for up to three weeks.
