450 g (1 lb) small new potatoes, washed and halved
45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
2 cloves, garlic, minced
1 green onion, sliced thinly
2 sprigs, rosemary, leaves only
30 ml (2 tbsp) hot mustard
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Cook the potatoes in boiling, salted water until just barely done.
- Drain immediately and transfer to a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Leave at room temperature for an hour, stirring gently occasionally so that the potatoes absorb the marinade.
- Preheat the barbecue.
- Arrange the potatoes on the skewers.
- Place the skewers on one side of the grill and turn off the flame on that side. Cover and cook over indirect heat for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
