2 slices spelt or multigrain bread
1 tsp (5 mL) unsalted butter
¼ cup (50 mL) shredded cheddar cheese
Heat a greased frying pan over medium heat. Butter the bread. Place one slice, butter side down, in pan, and arrange cheese on top. Top with other slice, butter side up. Cook sandwich until cheese melts and bread is golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan and slice into small, bite-sized pieces, triangles or cubes—whatever shape wins in your family.
