1 L (4 cups) of your favourite fresh berries
125 mL (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
375 mL (1-1/2 cups) real Whipping Cream
5 mL (1 tsp) vanilla
1. Reserve 12 berries for garnish. In a food processor or blender process remaining berries and sugar until completely smooth, scraping down sides of bowl if necessary.
2. In large bowl, whip cream and vanilla until light. Fold whipped cream mixture into berry mixture.
3. Pour into a shallow pan and freeze overnight.
4. Remove from freezer and let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Garnish with reserved berries and serve with crisp cookies.
Serves 4 to 6.
