Ornamental Icing
Spoon this icing into plastic bags with one corner snipped out to make it easier to decorate cookies. It will also help prevent the icing from drying out.

4 cups confectioners' sugar
3-4 tablespoons water
Food coloring (optional)
Directions
- In a medium bowl, stir sugar and 3 tablespoons water together until smooth and spreadable, adding more water as necessary.
- Divide into batches and tint by adding 1 drop of food coloring at a time until desired shade is reached.
