Green Living Show Ticket Giveaway (March 2019) Official Rules

  1. HOW TO ENTER

1.1       Visit any of the following magazines social media networks provided to you by Reader’s Digest Magazines Canada Limited (hereinafter RD)  www.facebook.com/besthealth , www.twitter.com/besthealthmag , www.instagram.com/besthealthmag , www.facebook.com/readerdigestcanada , www.twitter.com/ReadersDigestCA , www.instagram.com/readersdigestca , www.facebook.com/ourcanadamag and follow directions to redeem your two free tickets to attend the Green Living Show in Toronto on March 22 to 24, 2019.  The giveaway will close on March 24, 2018 at 5:00:00 p.m. (EDT) or until tickets we are giving away are all redeemed, whichever comes first.  The show will close on March 24 at 9:00:00 p.m. Website tracking determines date and time of entry.

1.2    Only one (1) redemption of two (2) free tickets per person for the duration of this giveaway will be accepted. And a total of 75 free tickets are set aside for this giveaway.

1.3       No purchase is necessary to enter and to win.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

2.1       This giveaway is open to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec) who, at the time of participation, have reached the age of majority according to the law of the province or territory in which they reside. Employees of Reader’s Digest Association (Canada) ULC (RD), their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

2.2       This giveaway is void in the province of Quebec and outside of Canada.

  1. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

3.1       Log on to any of the sites mentioned in sub-section 1.1 above and follow directions provided to redeem your two (2) free tickets.

3.2       All entry requirements specified on our websites must be followed in order to redeem your tickets.

  1. PRIZES AND AWARDING

We are giving away 75 free tickets to attend the Green Living Show that will be taking place in Toronto from March 22 to 24, 2019.  You have until March 24, 2019 at 5:00:00 p.m. (the show ends at 9:00 p.m. on that same day) or until there are no more giveaway tickets to redeem.  One person can redeem a maximum of two (2) free tickets, each valued at $14.00.  It will be first come first served, once the 75 tickets have been redeemed the giveaway will be considered closed.

Total value of this giveaway = $1,050.00

By entering the giveaway, entrants agree to abide by this giveaway rules, and the decisions of RD are final on all matters regarding this giveaway.  The participants will be redeeming their own tickets by following the instructions provided online on any of the above social media sites. Participants will be directed to the Green Living Show (Sponsor) site to redeem their tickets.

  1. CONDITIONS

5.1       RD is not responsible for lost, late, invalid, or misdirected entries/entry tickets to the show. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt. In the event that none or only part of the free tickets have been redeemed, RD shall be under no obligation to award the prizes, as this event is being held for a temporary period. Entries not satisfying these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified.

5.2       RD reserves the right to refuse submissions deemed inappropriate or offensive in any way.

5.3       Participation in the giveaway and acceptance of prize constitute the winner’s permission for RD to use his/her name, photograph, biographical information without notice or additional compensation. By participating, entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless RD, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in giveaway, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize draw-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement or any other intellectual property-related cause of action. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this giveaway in any way shall be disqualified.

5.4       Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above is prohibited. RD is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone, or other communication malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the giveaway, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this giveaway or downloading or uploading any materials in this giveaway. RD reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this giveaway should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the giveaway. RD may prohibit an entrant from participating in the giveaway or claiming a prize if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or RD employees.

5.6       Caution: any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5.7       This giveaway is in no way endorsed by Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and information provided by entrants is not provided to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram but rather to RD and sponsor.
