That’s why it’s so important to remember that at the end of the day, people will like you for being you, says Kayce Hodos, a licensed professional counsellor. “Ultimately, you can’t make people like you so just be yourself,” she says. “Spend time doing things that make you happy and healthy, and others will respond to that.”
