Drinking in the View, a Stein Collection
With a German background, Bev Weston of Lumsden, Sask., has a great interest in all things German. Though she doesn’t drink much beer, she likes to collect steins. Her collection was featured in the October/November issue of Our Canada.
My pride and joy, this stein is from Weihenstephan, the oldest brewer in the world, in Freising, Bavaria, Germany.
This stein is from Rothenburg on the Tauber River, a medieval-style city that escaped bombing during World War II.
This one is from St. Michael, a church in Munich, Bavaria.
This is from Hofbrauhaus (not the famous one in Munich), an old brewery in Freising. Bavaria.
