5 More Things To Do with Tennis Balls
Massage your back, open bottles and sand difficult wood surfaces, all with these practical new ways to use tennis balls.
It is estimated that nearly 300 million tennis balls are manufactured each year, so chances are you’ve got some lying around your home. Why not put them to work? From massaging your foot to sanding curved wood, here are five new ways to use tennis balls.
1. Sand Curves in Furniture
Wrap a tennis ball in sandpaper and use it to sand curves when you’re refinishing furniture. The tennis ball is just the right size and shape to fit comfortably in your hand.
3. Get a Better Grip on Bottle Caps
If your hands are weakened by arthritis or other ailments, you probably have a difficult time removing twist-off bottle caps. An old tennis ball may help. Simply cut a ball in half and use one of the halves to enhance your grip.
4. Massage Sore Feet
For a simple but amazingly enjoyable and therapeutic foot massage, take your shoes off, place a tennis ball on the floor and roll it around under your feet.
