5 More Things To Do with Tennis Balls
Massage your back, open bottles and sand difficult wood surfaces, all with these practical new ways to use tennis balls.
It is estimated that nearly 300 million tennis balls are manufactured each year, so chances are you've got some lying around your home. Why not put them to work? From massaging your foot to sanding curved wood, here are five new ways to use tennis balls.
2. Massage Your Back
Give yourself a relaxing and therapeutic back massage. Fill a long tube-shaped sock with a few tennis balls, tie the end and stretch the homemade massager around your back just as you would a towel after a shower or bath.
3. Get a Better Grip on Bottle Caps
If your hands are weakened by arthritis or other ailments, you probably have a difficult time removing twist-off bottle caps. An old tennis ball may help. Simply cut a ball in half and use one of the halves to enhance your grip.
5. Cover Your Trailer Hitch
To protect chrome trailer hitches from scratches and rust, cut a tennis ball and slip it over your hitching ball. The tennis ball will keep moisture out and rust away.
