Sautéed Shrimp with Parsley Recipe

  1. In a large skillet, warm the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and pepper flakes and cook for a few seconds to release the flavours. Do not let garlic brown.
  2. Add the shrimp and sauté until they lose their translucence, about 90 seconds on each side.
  3. Add the vermouth and cook another minute. Sprinkle with parsley and salt. Serve immediately.

Suggestion: Try this sauté with rice and braised escarole, or, for a more sophisticated dinner, serve the shrimp on a bed of black (squid ink) pasta.
