3 garlic cloves, minced
45 mL (3 tbsp) onion, minced
60 mL (1/4 cup) Tre Stelle Olive Oil
60 mL (1/4 cup) fresh basil, minced
1 fresh tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped
500 mL (2 cups) Tre Stelle Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
250 mL (1 cup) Tre Stelle Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
30 cm (12 inch) round prepared pizza crust
Combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, tomato, garlic, minced onion and fresh basil; set aside to marinate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Spread tomato mixture over prepared crust and top with sliced onions, shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan. Drizzle remaining olive oil.
Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly brown.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
