1 package (375 g/13 1/4 oz) noodles
2 mL (1/2 tsp) basil
500 g (1 lb) top sirloin grilling steak or 500 mL (2 cups) cubed cooked roast beef
5 mL (1 tsp) vegetable oil
500 mL (2 cups) pasta sauce
50 mL (1/4 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
50 mL (1/4 cup) chopped parsley
A deliciously easy recipe using strips of your favourite steak or leftover roast beef.
Cook noodles with basil, according to package directions. In nonstick skillet, sauté beef in oil until lightly browned. Stir in pasta sauce and heat through. Serve sauce over noodles and top with cheese and parsley.
Makes 6 servings.
