Chewy Butterscotch Raisin Bars

250 mL (1 cup) all-purpose flour
2 mL (1/2 tsp) baking powder
1 mL (1/4 tsp) salt
50 mL (1/4 cup) butter or margarine, softened
125 mL (1/2 cup) packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
250 mL (1 cup) butterscotch chips, melted
5 mL (1 tsp) vanilla extract
125 mL (1/2 cup) Sun Maid Raisons
75 mL (1/3 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Heat oven to 180°C (350°F). Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add flour mixture and beat until smooth. Beat in melted butterscotch chips and vanilla. Stir in raisins. Spread mixture into a greased 22.5 cm (9-inch) square pan.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and centre is set. (Sides rise higher than centre.) Cool completely; cut into bars. Drizzle melted semisweet chocolate chips decoratively over bars.
Makes 18 bars.
