50 mL (1/4 cup) each chopped stuffed green olives, black olives & green pepper
30 mL (2 tbsp) bottled Italian dressing
1 baguette
250 mL (1 cup) Tre Stelle Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
30 mL (2 tbsp) Tre Stelle Olive Oil
125 g (1/4 lb) very thinly sliced salami

Directions

Combine olives, green pepper and Italian dressing; set aside. Cut baguette in half, lengthwise. Hollow out both halves, leaving 1/2-inch (1cm) bread inside. Spread olive mixture evenly on one half. Top with cheese, pressing down gently. Drizzle second half with olive oil. Top evenly with salami, pressing down gently. Carefully bring both halves together to form whole baguette. Wrap in foil. Bake at 350ºF (180ºC) for 15 to 20 minutes (or cook over medium hot grill, turning once for 5 to 10 minutes) or until cheese melts. Cut into 4 sandwiches. Serve hot or cold.

Makes 4-6 servings.
