At Our Canada, we're always amazed by the creativity of our readership, especially when it comes to writing real-life stories. Now we're giving you an opportunity to fully express and share even more of your creativity, via Writer's Block - a venue for creative writing. In keeping with the "reader written" spirit of the rest of the magazine, remuneration for contributors whose work is selected to be shared with our thousands of readers across the country will be in the form of a free one-year gift subscription to the magazine and a free copy of the issue in which their published material appears.

To submit your original, unpublished short fiction or creative nonfiction story, fill out the online entry form below. You can also submit by regular mail at Our Canada, 1125 Stanley Street, Montreal, Quebec, H3B 5H5.

The word limit for fiction and creative nonfiction is 1,200 words. We cannot acknowledge receipt but will contact you if your story is selected for publication.
