Weirdest Cat Breeds

Cats are some of the most exotic and beautiful-looking creatures in the world. But some breeds are truly bizarre. These strange kitties really are the cat’s meow.

    As I mentioned in my 'large dog' comment, it would definitely be nice to know the individual names of each cat, their owner and the photographer. These cats are all marvelous. Perhaps next time you could also rate their 'Allergy Standing' in the method of 1 - 10. Thanks for the fun!

    I own a Main Coon cat now for over 13 years; He is by far the most affectionate cat I have ever owned and very beautiful. As an outdoor cat he is great at hunting - brings home live birds into the kitchen and dead mice outside the door! Smokey is a treasure - this breed is great to own.

    I thought my breed of cat was one of about 3 in the world ! Wrong! Thanks for the education in cat breeds all over this planet. Perhaps some mention of their origination would add additional interest.

    I live in an apartment building that allows cats - in fact it's almost a rule- my neighbor loves cats but is allergic - so he's now the proud dad of Jadon - a sphinx - Jadon is a love, affectionate and playful - but patting him is definitely weird - feels like warm purple suede - cool!
