Did you have a whole wonderfully romantic day planned for your beau that went horribly wrong? Did your last minute plans turn out spectacularly successful?

With Valentine's Day fast approaching (and some of us just fresh out of ideas!) we thought it would be fun to ask about your romantic (or not!) days past! Did you have a whole wonderfully romantic day planned for your beau that went horribly wrong? Did your last minute plans turn out spectacularly successful? Whatever the case, we'd love to hear about your funny, happy or (now hilariously) embarrassing Valentine's Day experiences.

Well I am embarrassed to say that I do not even have one memorable Valentines Day Memory. But I am still hoping......
My best Valentines' Day was meeting my E-harmony match. I lived in Massachusetts and drove up to Burlington Vermont and Patrick lived in Chateauguay Quebec and took a bus to Burlington where we met face to face for the very first time. We spent the weekend together completely enveloped in a magical feeling. That was 8 years ago. I moved to Quebec where we were married that Autumn.
My worse valentines day ever was about twelve years ago. I had a romantic evening all planned out for myself and my than boyfriend and showed up at his house for the plans that we both agreed a few days beforehand. When I arrived, some of his friends were there and he was getting ready to leave the house. I reminded him of our Valentines day plans and he said he made plans to -get this-watch porn with his buddies! Go figure. I guess they had a "romantic" night! I broke up with him the next day in case you are wondering. There were other issues that brought me to that decision but that was the last straw!
Our best....without a doubt. After THREE years of trying to get pregnant we decided that we needed to take a break from all the tests, procedures and one sad negative result after another. We determined our lucky day must have been February 14, 2004. Our son was born 9 months almost to the day later!
