Every month, Our Canada will set out a new theme for Canadian photography buffs to explore.
Dogs, boats and...dogs!
In honour of our Summer Fun Photo Contest starting Monday July 2, here are a few pics from my week!
It was a beautiful day on Sunday, June 24, and was also Quebec's Fete Nationale, so there were plenty of activities happening in the city. I couldn't not be outside with the dog so we went to a nearby park where there were blow up games for kids, a bbq, lots of cake and music. I made sure to put on Maximus' harness that says "Friendly" on it since I didn't want parents to freak out that a big black dog was going to sniff their child's hands (probably covered in ketchup from eating a hot dog). Maximus and Nikita were a great success!
The next day was a holiday, so Adrian and I got to spend the whole day together. We had passed by the lachine canal the other day and saw that you can rent boats, so that's just what we did!
Here's another pic of Maximus who finally got to have a nice long play session with his great friend Bello!
This weekend is a long weekend so I hope everyone gets out there and enjoys the outdoors! And don't forget to take lots of photos to submit to the magazine or our Summer Fun Photo Contest! See the Our Canada Facebook for details starting July 2!
