This Mother’s Day, gab Mom, kick back and relax with a good flic. In honour of this special day, why not try a movie about motherhood—there have been some good ones over the years. Pick something sentimental (Terms of Endearment) or go for the goofball comedy (Freaky Friday). A good laugh or cry can be a bonding experience.

1. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (2002)
