Step 1: To begin, move the hanger to an open area, either outdoors or in a well-ventilated space such as a garage, and cover nearby items with drop cloths to protect them from over-spray when painting.
Step 2: Wearing disposable gloves, use a lint-free rag to wipe down all wood surfaces of the hanger with Krud Kutter Gloss-Off to prep for paint. No need to rinse.
Step 3: Using painter’s tape, mask off the metal top hook.
Step 4: Apply a light coat of Zinsser primer to the wood surfaces. Let dry.
Step 5: Apply 2-3 coats of Rust-Oleum® Specialty Glitter Paint in Silver to all wood surfaces. Let dry.
Step 6: Apply a coat of Rust-Oleum® Specialty Glitter Clear Sealer to prevent the glitter from rubbing off.
Step 7: Using craft paper and decorative letter sticker, make daily tags to help coordinate and organize your weekly wardrobe.
