Torpedo Level

Short, 20 cm (8 in.) version of the longer carpenter's level.

Good for plumbing repairs because it fits into most restricted spaces. Tape it to a long, straight board for a fairly accurate larger level. Some models are grooved for resting on pipes and shafts.
