Contact Cement

We tend to think that water-based products are inferior to the old solvent-based standbys, but in the case of solvent-free, water-based contact cement, the new version is really an improvement. First, it is thinner, so although it sells for more, it costs less per square meter/square foot. It is not flammable and has no bothersome odors. It actually sticks as well as if not better than standard contact cement in all adhesion tests and supports considerably higher temperatures before delaminating. On top of all that, it even changes color to let you know it is ready to join the two pieces together. Best of all, once ready, you can wait up to 48 hours before joining the pieces together.
