2. Make Your Own Paste

The next time the kids make arts and crafts, try this easy way to make paste. Mix 3 teaspoons of cornstarch for every 4 teaspoons of cold water. Stir until it reaches a paste-like consistency. This is especially great for applying with fingers. You can also add food colouring so that the paste can be used for painting objects.
