Was this written by an American because it is a VERY stupid article.

The cat sanctuary is sadly now closed

SOME people leave their CAR doors open between October and November ie polar bear season, and mostly only in areas that are most likely to see polar bears. What this article fails to mention is that Churchill has a tiny population of about 800 people living in 20 square miles. Oh and also its in the middle of fricken nowhere.

Whitehorse Pop. 24 000 Nanaimo Pop. 85 000 Terrace Pop. 70 000 Nelson Pop. 10 000 Kitimat Pop. 10 000 Burns Lake 3000 Corner Brook 20 000 Fredricton 35 000 Cities you say only Nanaimo and Terrace make the top 100 most populated areas in Canada and they are a long, long way from the top

Vancouver aims to be the "Greenest City" while it's openly hostile to green transportation like scooters. Go figger!
