1. Japan

Japan loves a lot of things American, and around Christmas time, the meal for the holidays is KFC. That’s right, carry-out fried chicken. And it’s not just a spontaneous trip down to the local KFC to get it either. They order it up to two months in advance. Marketing for the Christmas Party Bucket was so successful that it has become a Christmas Eve tradition. Pictured here is the Japanese chain Mos Burger’s attempt to compete with their own fried chicken.
