Marketing Analyst



Senior Quantitative Analyst
Reporting to: Database Management Service Manager

Position summary:

Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Quantitative Analyst will primarily be responsible for quantitative analysis and functions in performing predictive modeling, market segmentation, and other statistical analysis for the Consumer Marketing and advertising departments. The incumbent will also fulfill specific quantitative analysis functions such as confirmation reporting, programming enhancements and special projects.

 

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree in quantitative methods, statistics. A Master's Degree will be considered a strong asset
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in quantitative methods, statistics and/or mathematics
  • Experience in programming, a must with particular emphasis in SAS
  • Good knowledge of multivariate statistics and logistic regression
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative and creativity

Marketing Analyst
Reporting to: Manager, Database Management Service

Position summary:

Responsibilities:

 

 

The Marketing Analyst - Business & Home Entertainment is primarily responsible for preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports, profitability by list, New-to-File projections, payment performance trends, test P&L and projecting sales and performance of all major campaign efforts for the Music, Video, Books & Series product lines in support of achieving marketing commitments.

 

 

Education / Experience

  • University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics or Mathematics
  • One to two years of pertinent experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (including Macro, pivot tables, and VBA)
  •  

 

Personal Requirements

 

 

  • Effective analytical and mathematical skills, exercises creativity in analyzing and solving complex problems.
  • Dynamic self-motivated with a professional image and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet commitments with minimal supervision
